I'm a total craft newbie and I can barely even sew, mainly because I've not had enough time or resources to learn even though I've been wanting to for years now.

Anyway I have a bag of lace ribbons and a bag of mostly lace material that was given to me by a friend who was going travelling. They've been hauled around with me for years and begging me to do something with them but I just don't know what. I've been too scared to experiment much as my hand sewing is quite crappy to look at. (I did have ambitions to get a sewing machine but it's never happened.)

Anyway I'd like some suggestions on what I could do with these ribbons and material that involve as little sewing as possible. I was thinking that making little dollies of some sort would be fun but I have no idea where to find instructions for that sort of thing. Can somebody help me?

Ribbon use is endless.  I use a lot of mine for card making and scrapbooking.  They're also great for Christmas crafts when it comes to customizing gift boxes and baskets.  If I were you, I'd google ribbon crafts to get more ideas.
