This is my alternative to spending $18 dollars for a headband.  I've gotten a bunch of compliments on it and it will usually take people a minute or two to realize my headbands is made out of underware. This is easy to make as long as you have a pair of Victoria's Secret panties you are willing to part with.

Here is how you start:

Cut the seam that connects the elastic to the cotton using a seam ripper or a pair of scissors.

Put the elastic around your head where you normally wear your headband and pin off the excess elastic.  This is a finished headband I made previously.  Right now I am using a safely pin to hold it together, but when I get back home from college I will sure my sewing machine secure it.

Cool, I must be funny to see people realize that it's from underwear.

lol, and so you then spend $18 on underwear, so you can have a headband!

Very cute though, I used to wear take-off-able bra straps as chokers.

Cute idea. I also like 'Me' 's idea of making a choker. I wear headbands and chokers. But no Victoria's Secret items in my possesion, though.  Embarrassed No, I don't have the figure. But I really like the ideas. How fun!
