I think the earlier ones came with masts also.  Seems like they come with less supplies than they use to.  Now they want you to buy all the extras.  I saw one on ebay and the keyplates were ginormous!!  Don't know if it was a usm though.  Heidi is definately an amazing woman for coming up with her ideas and sharing them with everyone.

Yeah, I've learned a lot from Heidi's site. I have a Brother standard-gauge punchcard machine, which is a quite advanced machine, and also an old metal bulky-gauge machine. It's not a USM, but I still frequent USM sites because it's very similar (no pattern device, etc.). Heidi's is among the most useful. Cheesy
