What wheel do you have

Don't ask me why I have so many.  I know spinners with more.  You just start collecting them once you appreciate the beauty and craftmanship required to make them (and every spinner I know does that!).  It is even worse with spindles!

I wonder how many thread pages we'd get up to if we listed our spindles, too?  Spindle collecting is a fine art, after all

It's official!! Yesterday I received my Ashford Traveller! my husband had it all ready to go at 2 am last night before I got up so I spent most of christmas day spinning.

I have an Ashford Traveller and a Traditional. I still prefer my spindles but am confident that I will get comfortable on the wheels soon

I have a Leclerc wheel that is my mom's.  Leclerc is known for their looms, and I think they only made spinning wheels for a brief period in the 80's.  I can get almost exactly 4 oz of fiber on the bobbin, but I only have 1 bobbin and no other brand fits   It looks like an Ashford traditional - single treadle, offset wheel, etc.

But hopefully soon my Christmas present will come and I will have my very own Fricke wheel

I've had an Ashford Joy DT for about a year, and I love it.  Pretty versatile, except that the bobbins are pretty small and there's no jumbo flyer attachment.  I'd say it's a great wheel, all in all.

I ordered an Ashford Joy DT over the holidays, and I'm about to go nuts waiting for it to get here.  It will be my first wheel, and it is all I can think about

I use an old Ashford Traditional, often with the jumbo flyer, as well as a Louet S10. But I have to admit to having eyes for a foldable Lendrum. Luckily living in an apartment stops me from acquiring too many wheels/fleeces!
