Well, if you would have told me that I'd be entering this contest a week ago, I wouldn't have believed you!  This is my first attempt at amigurumi...and I did it without a pattern!  Yep...just winged it!  I think the bear turned out pretty well...for my first try, especially!

He stands 11-1/2" tall (sitting, he's 8" tall)  I used Moda Dea 'Dream' yarn and some random scrap yarn I had for accent.  I know I'll get better since I kind of know what I'm doing now!

Thanks to Vanillaxlight for picking this challenge, as it has inspired me to take up yet another form of art!

I wonder what I should name him?

Thanks...I edited the post to add larger pics.  (Showing better detail.)

It's a crazy little bear!

He's lovely! I really like the accent colours - how did you do the spiral on his face? Also, awesome first amigurumi!

He's so cute!  As far as a name goes... he looks like a Bertram to me.  Great Job RM!

Thanks!

And...Bertram is cute!  Someone suggested Bullseye, which is adorable, too.  But I decided it's good enough to list it in my shop and since I always like to name my own stuffed animal when I get one, I'll leave it up to the adoptive parent!   Grin

Thanks for your suggestions, everyone!
