I just wrapped up the play fort ss9901 sent me... I can't wait til the kids can see it on Monday!  I can feel an action shot coming on!  I am probably most excited about this since I remember having a card table house when I was young - okay, mine was a girly house... this one is a kickass bunker!

I am officially done wrapping presents pretty much. I keep thinking I had gotten the boys more pajamas but I can't find them... I will search the garage.  I am probably just on crack thinking I had gotten them thermal jammies.  I might have just dreamed that I bought them... only time will tell... like 5 years down the road when I find a bag full of pajamas that are too small for my kids!

mailman picked up at the door 2 packages today - one on its way to xladyluckx and one to banga... I wish they would leave something to say they were there... one minute package was there... the next minute it wasn't... just a little thing hanging from the doorknob saying hey, I got your package right here.....

the kids are gonna love the fort - i think it's better when they're little like yours, by the time they're teenagers like mine, you can forget about the simple, imaginative, make it up sort of stuff... they want the hardcore stuff like a PSP and an iPod.

Actually, Logan has several PS2 games on his list.... several.  Fortunately he hasn't seen the commercials for most of them - I know he would want the new Spyro but he doesn't know it exists.  David was in imbecile and showed the boys the Fisher Price website so now they go there every week to see what's new in GeoTrax - which neither of them really even play with but it is all they asked for... well, Collin said he wanted one particular dinosaur, a superman action figure (which I didn't procure) and believe it or not a foam pillow like mommy's... Logan asked for a ton of GeoTrax and a few PS2 games and oddly enough "100 shirts" okay.  that was out of the question.  I don't even know where I would put 100 shirts...

I still have some holiday crafting to do.. I bought shirts to paint for both of them and a set of alphabet train cars to paint... I guess I better get in a painting mood really really soon one night....
Pouring rain today so I am not taking them to grandma's.  It isn't worth the hour and a half drive (in normal weather) to unload them for a day so I can have a craftapalooza...

Growing up, Christmas at my house would typically last three or four days. My mom would buy and wrap gifts throughout the year and then forget where she had hidden them. After the Christmas morning festivities you could see her thinking, "Didn't I buy? ... Wasn't there a ..." and over the next couple of days she would walk up to you and hand over another present that she had just located.

Same here on my mother locating things for days... she still does that. now she just hoards the stuff for the next birthday or xmas instead!

The other thing my folks did for my little brother (not for us older girls sadly) is that she had Ernie the elf who was a bit dense - Ernie would leave a present in an odd place - normally under your bed or something - I think it was to keep my brother in bed a little longer!  My 4 year old hung a stocking he got from school by his bed and said that he knows Santa will put something in that stocking too.... so yeah, we are going to have to do the midnight sneak to stuff that thing with something.. probably a few matchbox cars....

I have to laugh cause I have a birthday box and during the year when I see things cheap I buy a few and stuff them into it. I also op shop( thrift store) and buy bits n peices for and put them in there to that way when they get invited to a birthday party during the year I can just grab a present from that.

on a crafty note I finally finished up my christmas sewing yippeee.

Not to worry - looks like my computer will be home by xmas, so SHOULD be ok (I'll be testing it out, of course) - once it's up and running again, I'll be taking pictures to get caught up with the great stuff that's been arriving here!

I promised action shots from Xmas and the infamous play tent = which has been  HUUUUUGE success. They have been playing in it tons the past 2 days - and Logan announced it was the best place to play with their new light sabers since they looked so cool in there..

so here are those action shots!

First, xladyluckx sent me a wrapped gift for both boys - and it was - tada!  Spiderman puzzles!  They love them... Logan got one with Doc Oc and Spidey on it - he loves Doc Oc... and Collin got Spidey doing his webswing action - a huge hit!

Here is Collin in the tent - with his light saber..

And Collin and Buster in the tent....

peekaboo...

And the two of them together... having a blast..
