Well as far as attatching the head.... I just basically whip stitched around the head twice..... I was getting antsy, but when you pull the threads taught (afterwards) it brings the head and body closer together and makes the seam not appear as much of a hackjob you thought it would be.... but also I have a ribbon around the neck to hide the seam. You can't see in the pics but the ribbon is the same color as the hairbow.....errr... .flower. Sorry if that was confusing...I am trying my best to explain without pics. Not a good tut giver!

That does help, thanks!  I think I get what you mean.  Right now we have a pink elephant and a blue elephant on the desk upstairs... a stuffed body and a stuffed head of each just sitting there waiting to be put together.  I hope we're able to get to it this weekend.  We've still got 2 weeks before we head to visit his family for the holidays, so we'll have to get them done sooner rather than later!

Thanks again for the advice Smiley

I myself have never quite understood wists... I just use it occasionally to "wist" photos of things I like so that I have a visual reference of things that I might want to try and make for myself in the future Smiley

Holy crap.

Shutup.

Houndstooth is one of my favorite patterns and this is so stinkin' adorable.

Congratulations on being awesome.

If you join swaps, like Ongoing swaps or Wishlist swaps (or many other kinds of swaps I'm sure), some of them will definately be fulfilled!!  I speak from experience, and have been most spoiled! Grin

I can tell you, Fall is composed of

1 part dead fish smell
1 part wet leaves
1 part arctic chilled air (not winter chilled variety)
2 parts crunchy walking
a pinch very cold rain
some apples you picked yourself
a few very still moments
a good deal of inner reflection

Ahhh! How frickin sweet is that? I am soooo joining the next swap! But first I must retrace the last year and a half of craftster to wist all of the clever things I have wanted... I, too, have hopes of being spoiled by my fellow craftsters! (As well as spoiling)
