Thought I'd share my most recent project! I love, love, love making snowflakes!!!  Here they are!

After dipping them I set them on wax paper and poured glitter over them while they were still wet.
Hope you like!

That is so... cool!!  I have never heard of that, nor would I ever have thought to try that!  Does it make the snowflakes sturdier?

WOW! They are beautiful! Can you hang them after they have been dipped in wax or would they get all wonky and curl up and stuff?

SonjaBoo: Yes, they are very sturdy now!  That's one of the reasons I do it!
PinkyK:  They hang VERY WELL this way.  Plus I love for them to have the hint of color so when they are hanging in my "white-walled" apartment, they really stand out (and sparkle!).  The wax makes them stay pretty flat too.  I usually iron them super flat before dipping, but I forgot this time (I guess I just got too excited!)

I think I like the fact that you didn't iron them super flat before hand-- they look like they have a lot of texture!  Hmm... this may be just what I need for my secret santa swap at work!
