So, I started tis scarf last night, worked through ugly betty, greys anatomy, and men in trees. Then this morning I woke up and worked through Regis and Kelly, Rachael Ray (i HATE rachael ray, but its what was on, no cable here!) all my children, and right now im into mister rogers. so its just long enough to show off.

so here we are!

right now its 14 inches long, ye ha.

Enjoy! (greaaat christmas gift people!!)

oh, and its artyarns pattern p101 and color cs141 in artyarns cashmere 5

Oooooooh, I love that pattern!  I went to the artyarns website and clicked on the pattern, but all it showed was a picture of the scarf and what pattern and yarn number was used.  How do I get my hands on the actual pattern?

That is gorgeous and I bet it is super soft.

I found the pattern at an online store but they only had it as a kit with the yarn and I can't bring myself to buy a scarf kit for $86. Even though I'm sure I would love the feel of it - I think I'd be scared to wear it.

Christinanne - I sure hope that is a special gift for yourself or that the person you are making it for is truely fabulous and will appreciate it. Hey - what am I saying - I would appreciate it and I have on occasion be called fabulous  Wink

I bought the pattern at work, anyone who wants the stores website (we sell online) pm me, i feel tactless pimping the store around.

The scarf is for my great-grand-mother. She is such an inspiration to me. at 93 she still goes and gets a pedicure and her hair done every week, and she still loves to go out dancing. She is 93 though, so theres obvious laws of nature stuff that has me kind depressed lately (just moved five hours away from her, haven't seen her as much lately) so i wanted to give her something kinda special this year.

Nice pattern!  It looks very soft, and I love the colours.

ACK. So I got the entire first ball knit up, looked at the thing and its too dang short. 16 inches. a two skien scarf is supposed to be 40 inches, at this rate i wouldn't even break three feet. emailed le' boss to see if she can get me another ball before Christmas. arg. at least with my discount im only paying 35 a ball. 35+35+35=105=eek. oh well, its the most expensive gift im giving and again...its for a very special lady.
