My friend is having a Housewarming Party soon and I wanted to give her something unique (I'm sure she'll be getting a lot of candles, hand towels, and picture frames).

I decided to sew her some napkins in the theme her new kitchen will be in, Fall/Halloween.

This is only half of the napkins I am making, because she has a dinner setting for sixteen people!  Plus, I am sewing some extra for me.

Also, the last photo shows two different ways I can fold them into the napkin rings.  Which one do you think looks best?

Wow, those are great!
I'm sure your friend will be very happy with them.

What a thoughtful gift!  I really like the plaid and polka dot fabrics you found -- very cute.  I think the layered fold is nicer than the side-by-side look.

Hi - I'm thinking of making some napkins for thanksgiving.  What are the dimensions of each napkin?  Aand, are there any special ways to clean these?  I guess with a pattern on them the stains wouldn't show up as much.
