Great ideas! I just realized that this part of the forum was added! Is there an expected time for the first challenge to begin?

heavens to betsy!  we wouldn't want that, now, would we!?  It's all about participating and having fun anyhow, right?

Just because I have the wierd subconscious block about following directions and doing what I'm told.... (problem with authority?  Maybe)

Superstitch, I'm with you... gotta have a pattern!  I can always see how I want something to turn out, but without a pattern it just isn't happnin.

SlickMariaVic, I won't start the first challenge until after the holidays.  I figured that since my list of challenge ideas was short, I'd post right away to have a month to grow the list before voting for our first theme, which will start on the day after Christmas and go through New Year's Eve.  (Hope that gives everyone enough time to hop in here sometime to cast their vote!)  I thought having the first ever Knitting Challenge occuring while many people were frantically finishing up gifts and such would be cruel.  A lot of people wouldn't be able to participate in Challenge #1 that way.  After the first challenge, I'll just be removing a challenge idea from the list as it gets used, and adding new ones on-going, but I though a good, solid month of just taking ideas and preparing for the holidays would be enough for everyone. Cheesy
