I definitely voted for you....now I have to go get my Wallace and Gromit groove on and watch "The Wrong Trousers"....

You so rock!

I don't believe in ghosts, bigfoot, or flaking on your swap partner!

Thanks, everyone!   Grin

For those of you who want to try making a Feathers of your own, he really isn't that difficult, you just have to be willing to do a little trial and error sort of crocheting.  I did a fair amount of ripping out and reshaping while freehanding this guy.
I started out with some reference photos of Feathers which I placed a grid over, so I could get a more solid idea of proportions.
From there I just started at the top of the head, crocheting in a spiral (I think I started from 6 stitches in a loop, but this will vary depending on the weight of your yarn and size of hook), and making increases and decreases to get that gourd-like shape.
His legs are just tubes that cover a U shaped piece of wire that hooks through his bottom.  He also has simple triangle shaped wire frames in his feet.
Anyway, if anyone is making a Feathers and wants some tips, please let me know, I'll try to help as best I can. Smiley

I was just about to log out... cos my eyes are really drooping, cos its late and I'm tired.. and I saw your tag line and thought 'No.... really... could it be?' and YES it was!!!! Cheesy

That is the most amazing likeness of good old Feathers, that I've seen in a long time!!! I made a knitted one from a Patons Leaflet... like yrs and yrs ago... and someone nicked him, cos they thought he was soooo cute. But mine pales in conparision to yours!!!!

I can only hope that one day you might post the full pattern!!!!!!

That's funny, I'm knitting that one right now! But I'm just a beginner so I hope he'll turn out well.  Undecided
