I did a personal swap with Yarnhag. She had a load of granny squares that she wanted to swap, so I sent her a messenger bag in exchange for the squares. I am making scarves out of them and will post pictures when they are done. But until then, here is a picture of the granny squares, there are 70 all together.

And here is a picture of a table mat I opened yesterday. It's awesome and I'm so sorry I didn't email you yesterday, Meshell. I was so busy that I didn't find a moment, sorry. But I absolutely ADORE the mat Wink

I haven't opened today's present yet, so there is a picture to come Wink

Ah! I love those reindeer tea towels. So suave (and I like the metallic thread in there!)

Hiya! Check out the sweeeeet messenger bag Charliebrown swapped to me!  I love it a kazillion bunches!  If it weren't for the hours and hours of crochet that went into those granny squares, I'd feel like my end of the deal was inadequate.  Check it out:

The front flap has a velcro pocket and there is more of that fantastic fabric (which is a narrow wale corduroy) on the back, which is split into two velcro pockets.  It's hard to see in the pic, but the top of the front panel is trimmed with a fantastic beaded ribbon.  Beautiful.  There are pockets inside, too.  It's lined in a nice mottled beige fabric.  This bag is totally me, and goes with most of my clothes, too.  I'm very proud to own it!
