Details of swap:
Like before, participants will be matched up based on their preferences (fiber to spin/ recieve, skill level, and any other additional requests).  There is no maximum or minimum amount of yarn to send (size of skein, # of skeins), but it will be agreed upon by partners beforehand.  Yarn must be spun by the participant, preferably after seeing partner's questionnaire.  Craftsters who have participated in 2 swaps previously may request 2 partners.  ALL SKEINS MUST BE READY FOR USE WHEN SENT!  Please set the twist, label the fiber content and amount, etc.

Also, as an experiment with this swap, participants will be expected to craft one small to medium sized item for their partner.  (2 - 4 hours)  Some ideas include herbal sachets for their stashes, a wrist distaff, home-made soap, wrist warmers, etc.  C'mon, it'll be fun Grin

Please maintain contact with your partner throughout the swap!  Participants are required to mention whether or not they have access to a digital camera, as posting in the gallery is important for feedback and partner appreciation Wink

I'm really interested, but I'm wondering, is this the same or different to the handspinners/crafters swap I just finished?  IE, is this one only for spinners?  Also, the spinners craft for their partner as well, right?

Think I'll send my info anyway, sounds like fun!

TIA,
Ceilidh.

This is a handspinners only swap, but as an experiment (and to keep it "crafty") we'll all be making something small that our partner(s) can use and enjoy.

Ohnoes, that's so sad!  I hope everything's okay?  (I shall definitely organize a spring one if no one else gets to it first!)

Oh!  And I had a bit of an idea after conversing with cmc_aust - a list of ideas for "small" gifts participants can make!  If anyone wants to share, I'm sure we'd all appreciate it.  (I know I would!) I'll start with some of mine:
wrist distaff
herbal sachets (protect the stash!)
a PVC pipe niddy-noddy
