Because they are a Monster to make!  At least mine was.  Thanks to foureyedgirl for the inspiration and tutorial.  And kudos to ALL who have made one................ ....

This is for my 2yo niece for Christmas.  I will fill it up with books and gladly say bye-bye to this furry little creature who left blue fuzz over EVERYTHING!!!!!

Thanks toque!  That's my beloved 4yo daughter in the pic.  I almost blurred out her face before posting, but I couldn't bear to wipe out that cute face!!!!!  (I know, I'm a little biased)

The fuzz is a killer. It's very cute though, I hope your neice enjoys it.

Oh, I love it!  It's so cute and a great color, too  Smiley

Hmmm...you've just inspired me to make one for my 5yo niece!  I was just today thinking about what to make her for Christmas.  Yay!  Cheesy  And just to make sure -- the eyes/mouth are of felt, right?

Yes!  Although, I did use red canvas for the tongue because I forgot to buy red felt at the store.  Word of advice:  Applique before you put the bag together......obvio usly I didn't and that is where my monster turned into a bear to work with!!!!!  The felt stretched one way and the blue fuzz the other.  My little monster bag is now knowledgeable about the language of a frustrated Craftster!!!!!!
