i thought of decoupaging them to my desk..but reading the suggestions i would probably have to put glass over it cause i have my laptop on it alot.
Plus, i've never worked with modge podge before and don't want to ruin anything with an experiment
I've got pages and pages of newspaper comics (color and B&W)
any ideas?

thanks

I actually decoupaged alot of stuff with comics because i had tons left over after i did my school notebooks. I mostly just used packing tape but thats because i did mostly stationary bookish stuff. I seem to have problems with modgepodge and dog hair =/ hmmm. Well*main point* i think it would look pretty cool if you got some of those cheapish Japanese lanterns and wrapped comics all around them so the colors would come through the thin newspaper type paper. =]

The small daily-news comics are a really good size for bookmarks. You could laminate them or "faux" laminate them with sticky paper or tape.

i made like 5 bookmarks and they came out so cute. i used the daily black and white ones and used colored pencils to color them. i did all funky colors kinda warhol-esque and then used clear duct tape to "laminate them".
