Kitty hat from 1 continuous piece of fabric --- TUTE Added!

I did this project a long while ago, but I decided to take pictures a few days ago when I wore it and thought I should post them.

This hat was easy and I love the way the ears are placed.

Thanks for all of the compliments everyone! So, here's the tutorial!  I used fleece for the fabric.  The bow is more fabric and the stripe is a strip of ribbon.  Start with a rectangle of fabric as illustrated below.

This is gorgeous!  It's cute, but stylish so that it looks grown-up cute, not like a certain Hello Kitty hat in the posession of one who shall remain nameless that looks like it was stolen from a 5-year old. I third the tutorial request.

I agree with Inara about the grown up cute, that's exactly what I thought when I saw it - it's kind of like a classic wool hat, only with ears Very cute!
