I've been experimenting with the prequilted fabric as everyone seems to be carrying those "Vera Bradley" bags.

Here is my backpack, it has adjustable straps and the bottom is reinforced with Timtex.

it's much roomier than you would think.

I love that! Did you follow a pattern? If so which one? If not would you be willing to post a tutorial?
Love your choice of fabric colors too!!!

I yhink its ay cuter then Vera Bradley stuff! ( I have never liked those purses )
I inherited a stack of that prequilted fabric ( why do people contribute to my fabric addiction? ) did you use seam binding to finish the seams? I like it I think its girly without being overly huge and book baggish or Iam going camping, great for shopping marathons where you need hands free to carry purchases.

Yes I did use binding for the seams, the fabric is double faced so it didn't need to be lined.  The binding also contributed to the fiddly-ness of the bag..  Wink, but it was easier than trying to cram a lining in that bag which would have been way too bulky.
