i was wondering if anyone knew of anyplace that sells 'strange' cookie cutters. specifically i am looking for cookie cutters in the shape of human anatomy (like hearts and brains). i want to make some cookies for my med student boyfriend.
i found this site, www.foosecookiecutters.com, which is awesome (they have sewing themed cookie cutters!) but they do not have what i am looking for.

OR, does anyone know how to make cookie cutters? what supplies would you need?

Now, my story begins in nineteen-dickety-two. We had to say "dickety" 'cause the Kaiser had stolen our word "twenty". I chased that rascal to get it back, but gave up after dickety-six miles

I dont know where you could buy any. But you could just get a picture off the internet or draw one of what you want and cut it out with a knife. Hope this helps.

Here are directions for making your own cookie cutters.  They seem rather involved, and she does admit that it's rather easy to cut yourself.  Be careful!

I know this was a long time ago, but I've been eyeing these for a few weeks now.

ABC (Already Been Chewed) Cookie Cutters

They're pretty neat, though I haven't come across any other "weird" cookie cutters, unfortunately. I would say that the easiest thing to do, short of making your own, would be making a stencil out of a potato. You could also cut in tiny veins and arteries. You'd have to be somewhat competent with a knife, but it's worth a try!
