I'm back at school, where internet is not horrid, so here is what I received from machinegirl:

A) "The Queen Bee" pearl scarf (The ants did a great job lining up the pearls.)

B) "Bluebeard" key necklace (I won't be using the key anytime soon.)

C) "Cinderella" crochet square and doily (With all that housework, she must have made a bunch.)

D) Extras! Butterscotch cookies that my boyfriend devoured (I had my wisdom teeth out, and couldn't chew.), Oscar keychain, zipper pouch, and extra pearls.

So, thanks again for everything! Should I post pictures of what I sent?

Cool necklace.  I just love keys.   The scarf also looks very nice.

So I'm finally getting around to posting pictures of the cool stuff I received from summerthyme.

First, there's a white scarf, representing the white cloth given to the goose girl by her mother. At one end are my initials, embroidered in red; at the other, three embroidered "drops of blood." (I hope everyone can see it okay; I had to hold the scarf down because it was a very blustery day!)

Here's the rest of my loot. She made me personalized "Goose Girl" stationery (with my name on top, hidden in this picture) and a blank "Goose Girl" greeting card. The other items are inspired by "Little Brother, Little Sister" (a.k.a. "The Enchanted Fawn"). One is a cool photo-collage image; the other is "Little Brother's Collar."

It's a bit hard to see the "collar" (which can be an anklet, though I've only worn it as a choker), but it's very cool. It's intricately-knotted pale green ribbon strung with oblong antique-gold beads.

So thanks again summerthyme!

2) The Little Mermaid: Under the Sea Earrings/Beyond the Sea Necklace

3) Rumpelstiltskin: Straw into Gold Book Box

4) Plus: Machine Girl with Origin Story Limerick

Check 'er out! My swap goodies from Kitkabbit:

Okay, so the mobile will be hung in my guestbedroom. i'm not finished painting it yet though, so it's attached to the shelf at the moment. it's REALLY neat! i can imagine it was trcky to figure out the balance of all of that!

the magnets are going directly to my fridge. They are so fantastic - i need more whimisical magents. all i have are work magents!

the rose/beast box is at work. it got a few oooohs today when i brought it in! i'm going to keep my yummy candy in it.

the blue tin that you stenciled is absolutely amazing! i think it's my favourite piece. i'm not sure where i'm putting it yet - probably my craft room, but i'm going to leave it on the table for a bit first so i can admire it.

the goose girl box is great too. it's such a creative piece of art! again not sure where to show it off... i'll figure it out though!

the peter pan folder is great!!! i might keep some of my work stuff in it. and the peter pan book is super fantastic too! reminds me of the books we used to read for novel studies.

mmm lipbalm! can never have too much Smiley

Thanks Kitkabbit - you put so much work into everything. it's all so very beautiful!
