I received from ghostgirl today!  It's a really awesome package, although I admit I was hit by a wave of swap anxiety when the box came:

The little envelope beside it is the size of the one I sent her (non-fragile) package in  Embarrassed

And then I opened it and realised that it was mostly filled with paper to protect the awesome framed picture she sent, based on "East of the Sun and West of the Moon":  Grin

And there was a little box with sun and moon jewelry, and stitch markers to feed my addiction:

She also sent tea towels (I love tea, teacups, and Alice in Wonderland), and a copy of Angela Carter's The Bloody Chamber.

Thanks, ghostgirl!  Hope you like your crafts, too!

Wow!  That picture is beautiful, I love the stitch markers (I, too have a stitch marker obsession), and the tea towel is awesome.  Great job, ghostgirl!

thank you guys- you are all so nice to me  Smiley

I also received an awesome package from halfelvenwriter. I will post photos and a detailed description tomorrow. I'm already wearing the stencilled T-shirt she sent me!

also, the embroidery on the tea towels that I sent halfelvenwriter is from a pattern from Sublime Stitching.

I love that picture and the adorable shrinky dink charms!  Cheesy

Also, the bag of many furs is very cute and I am in awe of it.

I think I would go completely insane after attempting patchwork fun fur. Sewing furry things drives me insane (the tension wars, the cats trying to eat it, the fact that afterwards I look more furry than the furry thing I was making,  etc.) You are truly a better person than I to have finished that bag... it looks great!

Here are the wonderful thigs that halfelvenwriter sent me! I can't begin to tell you how much I love the stencilled shirt she sent!

stencilled shirt with images fom "Snow, Glass, Apples" by Neil Gaiman. I love the anatomical heart!

A handmade "closet door" journal from "The Bloody Chamber" by Angela Carter. Notice the key bookmark she made!

and some great jewelry in colors that I will wear- black and red)!

thanks SO MUCH, halfelvenwriter- I love it all! This has been a fun swap
