Ok, so last night I ran across the crochet crown thread... (I can't find it again. but I'll keep looking...) anyway... I made one, it is so stinking cute! Not to toot my own horn, I was inspired by someone else's idea, but... I'm going to try to get DD's hair brushed and get a pic... anyone interested or is it too 'girly' or 'kid-ish'?
Funny thing; I finished it in the car on the way to costco whilst kiddies were with gramma elsewhere... I was so excited about it that I wore it in to costco (and I'm kooky like that anyway) and as we were leaving a lady steps out, with two girls in tow (about 5-7 YO's) and said "oh look girls, she has a crown!"... I puffed up a little and did a pirouette for them... then said it was for my 3 YO at home, and she says, 'lucky girl, that's cute!'... nothing beats a compliment from someone at costco! Hahahha!

I would totally be interested!  I love things like that - in fact I have a turnkey hat in my wists that if I could ever knit up (or convince someone to knit it for me) I would wear on Thanksgiving!

Hey swappers!  I finished the prototype...  Wanna see?

I actually finished them all.  Yep ten sets, five different ones in each set.  Coming off a huge crafting bindge...  There are more detailed pictures in my flickr.  There's a link below.  Just go into the "Swaps(stuff I sent out)" set.  I'd love some feedback!  Enjoy!! Grin
