Oh my gosh! I totally forgot to post pictures from Day 4, only because I was using it.. it or them??? Haha. Anyway for Day 4, Betzi sent me 2 pretty skeins of Regia sock yarn, personally imported from Germany by her, a set of DPN's and instructions for knitting socks!

Here is a pic of the yummy sock yarn, I love it!

Today, for Day 3 she sent me 3 beaded snowflakes! Unfortunately I forgot my camera at my mom's house and can;t get pics until after Christmas, so I will be posting pics of the last 3 days then. Phooey.

Day 3 means fabric for me! My partner sent 3 meters of fabric! Wow! And they are very classy. The teal colored one with the circles is a really silky flowy kind of fabric and I love the color. The other two are quilting cotton and they will be going into a quilt based on browns, greens, and blues. Thank you so much!!!

WOW! I can't believe it's day 3 already! this has been so much fun, I look forward to next year.

here's what I sent gumshoegal for day3


she said she was interested in learning origami so I sent her a whole bunch of different papers and a little how to sheet. A custom made bone folder. I made it from red oak. it's quite strong and has a pretty honey strawberry color. and 10 paper cranes to get her started on her 1000 papercranes. (if you make 1000 paper cranes your hearts greatest desire will come true.)

here is what Gumshoegal sent me.

three brightly colored wall hooks. I think I'm gonna put these in my daughters room after I paint it. I'm glad she sent them cause I was about to go out shopping for some wall hooks. These are much cooler then what I was looking at.

Thanks for everything so far gumshoegal. Can't wait to see the last two days!

Ok, now for today's stuff. As I mentioned earlier, I didn't get anything, but the cats did. I gave them the treats first, and they went nuts. Well, they were stand off-ish at first, but once they tried them...whoa baby!

Then I figured I'd see how they liked their new toy *giggle*. I love the face Pippin makes in this one

Ok....Day 3 for Me wasnt for me...
Chopper got a stocking full of Milkbone treats, and a christmas scarfy
(She is mackin on the bone as we speak)
Dini(Houdini) got a stocking full of 9 lives treats/toys and a jar of
some yummy looking treats. ( The balls are flying...let me tell ya)
Judi got a book on knitting(cause she is a crocheter) and the most awesome yarn that she can't stop fondling.
For anyone wondering...Tenrec counts as bad as me.....but we had discussed this during the craft time 


We love everything....WOW.. ..this swap has been absolutely fabulous.....

I dyed it - it's Knitpicks sock yarn.  Glad you like it!  It's self-striping, although the stripes are going to be of variable length (some long, some short).

And I counted it as 3 because there were 3 recipients - Chopper, Dini, and Judi!

And I hope Judi likes the knitting book - I'm always trying to convert crocheters to the dark side (just ask my mom!)
