I work at a candy store and that is 12 days of cooking.  I made all of it.  I was worried the apple would go bad, but I guess it didn't.  All of the stuff is easy to make, except for the caramel corn because it is hard to get the stuff to get to the right temp.  The fugde was my first time ever making it.  If any of you want to know how to do some of the stuff, let me know, I have all the recipies in my head, just don't tell my boss.

Apologies to whoever were upset by my absent.  I was in and out of the hospital from December 2007 until June 2008.

Duh, I almost forgot, I got a CD from ohmyword.  We listened to it all day at work, my favorite co-worker and my not so favorite both asked for copies.

The playlist is,
12 days of Christmas by John Denver and the Muppets
12 days of Christmas by Alvin and the Chipmunks
Redneck 12 days of Christmas by Jeff Foxworthy
The 8 Polish Foods of Christmas by Veggie Tales
12 days of Christmas by Memorial Madrigals
Oh Santa! by Veggie Tales
Carol of the Bells
Oh Holy Night by Rescue
A tiny Child
Joy to the world
When love came down
Deck the Halls

Okay, I got really tired of typing.  I hurt my wrist at work today, so here's a pic.  Excuse the dirty work hair.

Shocked ok, I'm just going to have to hide on one of my days then lol. Yes, would love recipes, if you're ok to share them lol. Don't want to get you in trouble though!

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

Woohoo! Finally Day #1! it was way too tempting to open early. I received two very colourful and cheery packages from Yamwam.

and today I opened....

12 peices of licorice! One of my favourite candies! I'm trying not to eat them all, but I have to do something to keep myself from opening the next day.

yamwam- I hope that you enjoy the buttons!

No they're sequins, smaller ones glued on top of larger ones

*squeals* Ok, but only because you told me to, Sewpixie!

Ok, I actually did squeal when I opened my present. Look!

I got a sewing kit! And all the fabrics and colors...you ...I.. ok..it's official...me= speechless. I love it!

Oh, and there was a little note inside it, too:

On the 12th Day of Christmas,
my Craftster made for me....
a 12 piece sewing kit!
5 fat quarters
4 pins
1 measuring tape
1 pincushion
1 pair of scissors

Man...my Day 1/12 isn't near as cool as this one....I hope the rest of the days'll make up for it...

Seriously though... I absolutely love the colors/fabrics you picked. How on earth did you peg me so well?!? Thank you!!!
