I've been on a bit of a craft hiatus, but recently all these silly parasite images kept popping into my head (I'm a science nerd). So... I started working on two quick projects last night... one is going to be a flatworm shaped stuffie for my goddaughter, the other is this little purple and green flatworm scarf!

I sort of don't sew.. so this is my first attempt. I like it. I might make more/similar/other parasites.

Oh crap. That is an awesome idea. I'm just finishing up a flatowrm stuffed animal for my goddaughter. Her parents will hate it, but I think its awesome... but... a flatworm shaped scarf... that's even better than with an applique! eek. Must not take on more projects!

Great job! The colors are really fantastic, and for a first atempt at sewing, that's really good. I've just started sewing and have only made 2 things, but anyways, the scarf looks super! Pink and green go great together!

oh goodness... now THAT is adorable.
I'm terribly tempted to make one and anonymously mail it to my (hottie) former biology teacher.
I'm not a stalker, I promise...
