I think this is my favorite design out of all of the record purses. I LOVE the fabric you used! How did you attache the fabric? It looks like you sewed it through holes in the record, so I guess what I'm asking is: what did you use to cut the holes and cut the record handle?

I may have to hit our local record shop to see what I kind find!

Great job!!

yer i loved the fabric had to buy it seeing as it was so cheap!

what i did to get the holes was place an open saftey pin into the flames that come out of the gas hob cooker. then pushed it throgh the vinyl. goes throught really easy. for the handle i had a long metal pole that i got in this wire jewelery making set so i put that through the flame and pushed it through to make four holes in what would be each corner. the with a craft knife scored inbetween each one so till the peice popped out. i did blanket stitch with embroidery sticth to attatch the fabric.

that is wicked.  I was thinking about trying to sneak an album from my husbands collection but the used clothing store might be better.

I am in love. this is awesome. How did you do the middle?

the middle is just a strip of fabric sewed to either edge. i covered a peice of thick card cut from a box in the same fabric that is the purfect fit to place inside at the bottom so it stands up easier and is stronger and sturdier.
