These are really great!  Just curious- did you draw a pattern on the fabric before hand, or was it stitched spontaneously?  Either way, you did a beautiful job!

Your doodles look great! I like to make some like that to frame and put up on the wall or something. Keep up the awesome work!

That's really cool!  I keep meaning to get myself a book of stitches and get back into doing embroidery, but I always find myself losing interest in patterns...I may have to try for randomness Smiley

ali_n_zoe ~ I didn't use a pattern, i just made it up as i went along!! I did use Mary Thamas's "Dictionary of embroidery stiches" to find the stitches. It's a really useful book with good directions!

Lady Llanalla ~ i didn't move the hoop at all, i just angled the needle under the rim!!

I love them!!!!

You should do more... I think they are very artsy and cool.

I just dabble in embroidery right now but this is definitely something that I'm now thinking of doing too to get used to the diff't stitches!

Conkers these are fantastic. Your doodles are more like art to me  Smiley. I second the idea to applique them to a t-shirt, purse or skirt

Doodles never looked so great!  Love the idea of doodling with embroidery, I think these would be really great for wall art!
