hey all -

thought I'd join the parade and share the first fruits of my labors:

two of Toshiro Mifune from the movie "Sanjuro" -

amused:

pissed:

both have the same back print:

and the boxcutter... wore this through security to get on a plane, just to see if anybody would  have a problem with it:

feedback appreciated - let me know what you think!

I like the last one.   Grin  and wearing it through security is very funny!  I'm assuming they didn't mind...

not a single look, doubletake, comment, or anything... although I wasn't in the mood for a strip search, I'm still a little bummed that it elicited no comments...

Hey question (by the way cool shirts!) what kind of ink did you use and what kind of heat setting did you do?

I'm using Speedball water-based Textile inks (although I need to post a question on Plastisol inks).

for heat setting, I actually found a portable mangler at a school auction, it's like a miniature ironing board that opens like a clamshell, and the upper section has a heating element. it's the bomb! it will only let you leave it closed for about 15 seconds, and then it turns itself off to keep from burning the fabric.

thanks! I was actually going to screen the text of the first amendment on the inside of the shirt, so if they asked me to turn it inside out, I'd still by fling the colors...
