Sheeeeeit guys, this is the first FO I've cranked out in a while! It's my own pattern and the yarn used is Bernat Baby Coordinates in Lemon Custard. It's plied with a shimmery bit of nylon or something and it gives it a nice sheen when the light hits it.

I sewed a few beads on it to bring out the pearly-ness of it and to diffuse the baby pastel-ness. (I'm just making words up as I go...)

I'm particularly proud of the top of the hat. I had to improvise the pattern when decreasing and it turned out so elegant looking. I'm totally digging it.  Cheesy

Comments or criticisms are totally welcome (and encouraged)! Hope you all like it. Wink

Hey, How German! That's a great design! The hat top is perfect.
Love the beads, too! The color looks perfect on you. Your eyes really pop out!

BTW, every time I use your knitted wallet with the beaded branches, I think of you, and I LOVE IT.

It is lovely, and the beads are perfect.  Are they sewn on in any particular pattern?  Did you knit this in the round or is there a seam?  I can't tell, you've done such a great job.

Aww!! A past swap buddy!!  Grin I'm glad you love the wallet!

And krafty_kelly, the hat was knit in the round using two US6 circs (I didn't have double pointeds in the right size  Tongue). And the beads aren't really sewn on in any particular pattern, they're just sort of clumped together.

Smiley Glad you guys like it and I was indeed going for the classical, timeless sort of look.
