I'm going to a holiday party in a couple of weeks, and we all have to bring a $5 gift for a grab bag. I need something(s?) that different people would like, because I don't know who's getting the bag. I was thinking of making a record bowl, but records at my thrift store are like less than a buck, so I need something more. Any ideas??

Make a record bowl and go to the dollar spot at target and fill it with their kick ass Brand name coffees and candies there. At the end of the month everything is 75% off.

Ooh...fill it with homemade candies would be good. Or little cut felt creatures (just cut, glue and stuff)...Or old VHS tapes of good movies (they're typically $1 at the video stores around here)...Or CD coasters...

That sounds like a really fun gift idea!
