Reality Bites, I have the teeth marks to prove it

I am a caffeine junkie. And as such, I go through alot of canned soda. What better way to show your holiday spirit and help explain why you are up all the time thinking of crafty things to do, than with a custom soda can wreath. Hot glue is now my friend. *Note to self* (when you get hot glue on your finger, no matter how much you shake your hand, it doesn't come off or cool down) Undecided

Thanks for all the positive feedback. I grew up in a trailer park, Does it show? lol. My wife still roles her eyes when she walks by some of my crafts and gives me those supporting and loving words of "You ain't right".

What? No Sundrop in Arizona? How do you live? Send me an address and I'll send you some. No, seriously, I will. Nobody should be deprived of the nectar of the Gods. Drop me a line and I'll send you a case.  Smiley

Ahh!  Sun-Drop cans!  I know what you guys mean about Sun-Drop...I was raised in N. Alabama on Sun-Drop!  So good....I had to "learn" to like Coke when I moved away, but there is nothing like going home and getting a cold Sun-Drop in a glass bottle.  Yum.  The wreath is awesome too!

Love the wreath!  Did you use some kind of base or just glue the cans together?

Thanks. Who would have thought that I would get so many comments on such a silly project. Yes, I did make a base to mount the cans to. I had some scrap thin plywood in the shop, cut out a circle (using a trashcan lid as the template) and painted it green, just in case you saw more wood than planned. Sundrop is a staple item here in N.C. I think the wells out here tap directly into a Sundrop resevoir. You have to pay extra to find water.

And yes. Sundrop is kind of like Mellow-Yellow and Mt. Dew. But not exactly. Sundrop is in a class all of its own.
