Here's what I got.

Nice chili ornament, which is now hanging in our kitchen. We don't have a lot of Christmas decoration, and all that we have is in kitchen for some reason.

Photo frame for my sister. I think she'll like it, I'm going to give it to her on 25th, which is also her birthday.

Dyed fabrics. I love the green one. I've had in mind that I could make a doll or two for UNICEF (http://unicef.fi/anna_ja_toivo), and these fabrics will be great for their clothes.

And a present for me. I haven't opened it yet, I'll wait till sunday.

Bloo, I got the penguin garland at Hobby Lobby, oddly enough.  I was trying to amuse my nephew and we went on a "penguin hunt" to keep him busy and he spotted it.  (Yes, I employed child labor in acquiring Penguino's presents.)

p.s. Sorry to respond to a post from two pages ago.  I'm buried in Christmas Craziness.

p.p.s. So glad you liked everything, Penguino!

I think the kitchen is a very suitable place for a chili ornament.  Wink

It's Christmas Eve and I've opened the present hoxierice sent me (well, it's past midnight allready, but it wasn't when I opened the present). I got pretty pot holders! I'll try to post pics before New Year.

Yesterday I opened up my present from heini. It was a lovely recipe book of her favorite recipes. Since she is in Finland I asked for stuff regarding Christmas traditions and this was so nice! Also there were some star magnets. My refrigorator now has a growing collection of magnets from craftster!

I got my package on the 23rd and opened it and it was wonderful. BlooCanoe was the best! Photos to come tomorrow when we're done playing with the new Wii we got today...

And now for the goods! For starters, I got some candy, which made it's way into my tummy before photos!

Let's start with ornaments! I didn't get good photos of the teeny knit mittens and candy cane, but there were others.

A soft tree! I agree Bloo, it does look a little like something from The Grinch! Two soft ornaments that say Noel and Joy:

My gift for other people was a set of cards with images/quotes from Rudolph, my all-time favorite Christmas movie.

My gift for giving: a ball of Patons Soy Wool Stripes and a pattern for a hat as well as some tea. I knit a hat but haven't had a chance to take photos yet. It will be going to the Dulaan Project.

And the wrapped gift was a needlebook a la Gingerquilts! I have one that gingerquilts made me but I haven't been able to locate it. I fear the FAA lifted it from my checked luggage when I traveled. Knowing this, BlooCanoe made me a new one!

And a close up of the stitch markers she included inside:

I love everything and I feel so spoiled! Thank you ever so much Miss Bloo!!

So glad you like everything, TheBon! 'Specially since YOU spoiled ME!  Smiley

I should add that the stitch markers were originally earrings sent to me in the first magic yarn ball swap... my partner suggested I pass them on if I didn't think I would wear them, so I bent them into stitch marker shapes to go into the knit kit (which was probably obvious, since I have no jewelry skills!).

I did notice that they were bent from earring wires, but never gave it a further thought. Thanks magic yarn ball partner! Wink
