Is there room for someone from this side of the pond? Cheesy Norse mythology and related stuff is something of a passion for me. What can I say, I'm a heathen after all Tongue

yay! sounds great! i love nordic stuff. however, my definition of norse art is somewhat different that wikipedia's... i was thinking more fair isle-y, simple flowers and animals, like what Anthropologie and Free People seem to be into lately? anyone else with me on this mindset?
i'm definitly interested.

Hmm, well, when I thought of Norse art I was thinking more along the lines of the Iron Age/Bronze Age type, but what do other people think?  I do love the look of Fair Isle knits (take a look at http://www.shetland-museum.org.uk/collections/textiles/fair_isle_knitting.htm if you're wondering what we're talking about).

Of course there's room!  I actually saw some shirts that you had stenciled and was hoping you'd sign up!   Cheesy

I have a cd & book of clipart from Dover Publications called Viking Designs. 187 pieces of permission free artwork directly from viking-era finds and runestones. Some are fairly simple, some are fiendishly complex Smiley

The ISBN is 0-486-99534-8. I've got to get started on screenprinting cause there's some fantastic designs in there that are totally beyond what you can do with a stencil

This swap is making me excited! I'm already a buzz with ideas, for any one of the people who've commented so far. Please oh pretty please make sure this starts AFTER the holiday season? I've got so much to be doing right now....

Oh yes, it will definitely start AFTER the holidays.  I have much too much going on right now to organize a swap!   Smiley

fantastic.. cos I really really want to be in on this one, so I'm trying to save a few swap spots Smiley  I know exactly what I want to make, so I'll probably start on some ideas now while I have a little time anyways.

Any hints for the first-time swapper? Smiley had to do this one, but I don't really know what I'm doing lol
