So, I'm trying really hard to stick to a handmade theme this Christmas and I've already figured out a lot of gifts.... BUT... I'm having trouble thinking of crafty gifts for a couple of teenage boys. They're your typical boys....they love sports, XBOX, rap music, the net, etc. etc.

Any ideas??? Help!!

you could collage a couple of their favorite things on something... idk, like take an i-pod case and plaster it with their favorite rapper names, or make them a box to hold their x-box games in...

- flannel sleep pants
- knit toques in cool styles
- throw pillows shaped like things they'e interested in - i.e. football, computer monitors, video game characters - or decorated with fabric from their favorite sports team (maybe a throw pillow shaped like a bottle of beer? lol)
- pillowcases in fun fabrics, body pillows
- a quilt
- somebody here posted pencil holders made out of floppy disks

Most teenage boys are VERY hard to craft for!!!

A DVD sized rack to store their games in, and a padded bag to transport their xboxes in when going to friends places, just make sure to add pockets for controllers and games

I vote for beanies if you can crochet or knit.   Grin

I took up running so that I could eat more, not because it feels good.  haha

I say duct tape wallets. My guy friends all love my duct tape wallet.

I have a teenage brother and he's ultra hard to craft for. Past years i have knitted him scarfs, sewed cd cases or travel bags for xbox games,  and made him throw blankets and pillows.

I like the idea of a beanie or a duct tape wallet... maybe mix cd of favorite songs? Huh OR like my guy friend plays guitar in a band and he has one of those guitar pick necklaces which you could easily make yourself...

You guys are all incredible! I love every idea... especially the bags to transport games, etc. I love making bags... and the beanie thought is good too. I can knit up some of those really quick. Either way, I'm gonna end up using all these ideas for gifts now and in the future. Thanks so much!!  Grin
