I had to get a new trash can for the kitchen and since I have a cherry theme, decided to embellish ithttp://www.smartgroups.com/picvault/18976826.JPG/DSCF0031.JPG  I am also a recycle nut, so added a little reminder for the kids and hubby.  Smiley It says, Wait! Can you recycle that?

Did you use acrylics?  How do you keep the paint from chipping from frequent use?

Thanx! I used Perm Enamel paint, meant for tile, glass etc. It really holds up well.

Ok, I definately need one of those for my future (cherry-covered) kitchen!!!  Gotta try it, but with pale blue instead of green trim.
