Sorry if this has been done before (or is in the wrong place!) I did try a search on it but the 'search deamon' is on strike I think Undecided

Anyway, nalbinding. Does anyone know how it's done? I've a few balls of cheap yarn from when I was learning tablet weaving and I'd love to give this a go but I really have no idea what I'm doing Tongue I'm just guessing it might prove easier to pick up than knit-one-purl-one-drop-ten-oops... which has so far been my attempts at knitting Cheesy

So, any links, hints, suggestions?

Cheers Cheesy

The search feature is wonky right now, but there is at least one sizable thread here:

It can be spelled nalbinding, naalbinding, or nlbinding (aa in Norwegian = in Swedish). The first post in the thread Fun4Bambi gave the link to has links to good tutorial sites.

For me, it was harder to pick up than knitting, but it's probably on a individual basis.  Smiley

Cool, that's 2 crafts for the price of one Tongue I can make myself a bone needle to start my naalbinding with. I've made some bone sewing needles in the past so it should be a breeze. How the naalbinding works out, well, I'll keep you informed Smiley
