Thank you! I love comments. Well, there are some big wooden support posts in the hall that we're using, so I thought I might either wind them up those, or use them as centerpieces. My fiancee says I should do them for my wedding bouquet as well, but I'm not sure if that's what I'll do. I just need to find a pretty looking vine so I can see how they would look strung up.

I'm also thinking of trying something like this:

Raine_Dementia, your roses turned out awsome!!!  They look so lifelike in your pictures.  I hope you post them at your ceremony.  Great tute.  Congrats. Raine_Demetia.  I can't get over how lifelike and dainty they look.

Hey all! Well, it's not morning but here are the photos I promised. I think I'll have to start my own wedding thread soon...

So, here is all the roses I've made thus far thrown into an old jam jar for lack of a vase.

I actually dragged a piece of foamcore from our craft room and my reflectors to get better detail this time.

These two are my latest. These were done with a base coat of easter egg dye before I cut them into petals, then I paint each petal with watercolors.

I've been experimenting with other colors to compliment the ones I already have. I think it's coming along nicely.

Anyone know a good place for making/finding realistic craft vines? I want something more jungle looking or at least realistically leafy. Nothing that screams plastic or silk.

Mornin' Raine_Dementia.  Definitely morning here and glad to see the pics.  Lovely. I'm so glad I saw this post.  Your bouquet looks so realistic so far.I like the "new" color.  I was in Michael's a few months back and they had a whole area with "fake" flora.  Some real real looking. It was a huge space of the stuff.  Maybe you could find something there.  Good luck.
