That pirate girl is so cute!

Also, I am in awe of that tiny origami octopus. How on earth did you do that without tearing out all of your hair!!

did I mention that I destroyed about 5 of the octopuses/octopi trying to come up with a good one? LOL.

to do the miniature ones, first I practiced on 4" square paper, then 3" paper, then finally 2" paper. It helps to have lots of old magazines. I just chose pages by their color and created the shapes. the oyster, for instance, was a piece of furniture in the magazine, but once it got folded, who but me would know? I think the octopus was a bowl of soup? Hah, hah, hah. I love the transformation.

Okay, what is worse, that was my first time doing origami. I got inspired by penguino who sent me a set of origami greeting cards.  Wink

I love craftster, you all are teaching me so many new things, and I'm having a ball trying them! Grin

Okay, Twiztidblood, I love the ordinary pirate, who isn't very ordinary to me!

I love how you used the perforated cross stitch paper as rigging on a ship (at least that's what it looks like to me)

Great job!

I'm still up to my eyeballs in paperwork! Busy keeping up with the Green Glass Door ATC swap, but will be back with everyone soon!
