I can't quite imagine the  needlepoint squares.
I've been looking for a nice frame to organize my earrings for a while...are your squares decorated, do they look nice to put up on the wall?

Needlepoint squares are nothing more than translucent plastic grids, bars of about 1/4 inch with about 1/4 spaces between bars.

I tie a simple ribbon on 1 corner and hang them from a pushpin. I hang my pierced earrings on them. The earrings become the decorations.

I have 5 in a row, with earrings grouped by color. Very pretty AND better for the earrings since they stay together. FWIW,my husband likes this storage system, too.

I've made more elaborate versions for gifts. Multicolor ribbons and maybe a small flower or other motif at the top hanger corner. And when I give presents, I usually add a pair of pierced earrings so that the giftee knows what it is!

What do you say? Shall I send you some? If you don't like them, they're recyclable.  Cheesy

Yay, I'm in!

I, maps, claim from scotskipper one package of black fabric!

My list:
*manila envelope filled with paper ephemera & embellishments (scrapbooking papers, fabric trims, found objects & papers, wood/plastic/metal embellishments, fancy/handmade papers, card stocks, stickers, magazine pics, etc.)

*4"x6" (10x15cm) ziploc bag filled with glass bead mix - you choose warm or cool colors.  This could be anyything from seed beads to large beads.  There would be some singles and pairs of course, but I would try to get good amounts of most of the beads.  I don't already have them selected out, I just have too many beads and thought this could thin my selection out a bit. Smiley

*large padded envelope filled with different kinds of fabric, not just quilting - good for softies, embellishments, etc.

*will carve one winter themed stamp, probably tree of some sort - one of mine is pictured here: http://i28.photobucket.com/albums/c234/-Doe-Jane/swap/224fc542.jpg

*will make two hand-embroidered baby onesies - they can be sassy or sweet

*into ATC's?  I'll make two on theme of your choice
