Swap name: Geisha ATC Swap
Craftster member who is organizing this swap: pinkangel1979
Sign-up date range: 22nd-27th Nov
Date to send item by: 11th Dec

Limited to a certain number of people? (optional):NO

Restricted to people who all live in the same country? NO

All ages allowed? Or 18+? All ages

Swap Organizer himself/herself meets these conditions:
- Has fully read the Swap Info Guide: YES
- Has successfully completed two swaps as a participant: YES
- Is not organizing more than three swaps right now: YES
- Will recruit a co-organizer or give all details to a Swap Moderator if this swap has more than 25 participants: YES

Swap Organizer will check each participant to make sure they meet these conditions:
- Has been a member for at least one month: YES
- Has posted at least 15 times: YES
- Has completed one swap successfully before signing up for multiple swaps at a time: YES
- Is not currently signed up for more than five swaps: YES
- Does not have any negative feedback: YES

Details of swap:
OK some of this is "borrowed" from other ATC swaps to try and keep it consistent.  Any questions just ask!

Each participant will make three Geisha themed cards and send them to three different people and receive three back in return.

No DC# is required but you will be required to re-send if your card isn't received three weeks after send out.
Due to the small size of ATCs, International posting is expected from all participants as it does not cost much more to send  internationally.

An ATC is 2.5in x 3.5in only- no larger, no smaller.  On the back include at least your user name.  I usually put my full name, swap name and a date on as well.  Other people number their cards.  Please ask if you're not sure what to do.

Any media is allowed e.g. paint, ink, fabric, collage but don't make them too thick as people store them in card holders and if they're too thick they won't fit.

Also remember to read the Swap Info Guide to find out how to ship your item and other details about participating in a swap.

AFTER PEOPLE HAVE SIGNED UP AND BEEN APPROVED, LIST THE PARTICIPANTS HERE AND WHO IS SENDING TO WHOM:

List of participants & status moved to gallery thread

I'm fairly new to both swapping and ATCs, so I have a question:  in a swap like this, do people typically make the same (or similar) card for all 3 partners?  Or do you make 3 unique cards for each partner?

I tend to make them unique but if they were viewed together they look like part of a set if that makes sense? So same technique and same "look" but each one unique.

I'm in. I have never done anything Geisha themed, so guess this is a great way to start.
