Meh, you can always take kids clothing and make it your size if you're an adult, or if you're making for a kid you can just use something for a smaller kid. Cheesy I really like this idea!
This kind of makes me want to try and make some of my daughter's really cute baby clothes fit me...

LOL...I could upsize AND gender bend with my son's baby clothes...

Maybe take a single type of fabric like denim, lace or muslin if you want to go for the same supplies for a challenge. It's something nearly everyone has, and one the the great things about craftster folks it their great ability to revamp clothes they have found.
