Hi everyone! My daughter told me about this and that I should post my Christmas tree so here I am

It's really a large collection of ornaments over a large period of time- many of which are hand made by myself and my children (a lot from when they were very young).

We are having problems with the lights this year though! We have the top not blinking, the middle blinking, and the bottom "flashing"- it's pretty annoying!  Angry

Ah, now I'm sad. I haven't done any decorating yet because we've been too busy. Plus, I have NO WHERE to put our tree. It's a little 3 foot fake that we put on the dining table last year. Problem is, we don't have a dinind table anymore. Our dining room is now my craft room....and I have a LOT more craft stuff than I did last year. Plus I need to make a mess there for projects I'll be losing sleep over to finish. We need a bigger place....

If nothing else, I'm hanging lights tonight and I'll put my ornaments up on the indoor lights.

Craft till it hurts.

I would love to see some dorm room Christmas craftiness...I haven't done my room yet because I've been too busy with finals and I'm not really sure what I can fit in here but I'll be giving it a go soon.  Everyone's trees look so pretty!

I have been wondering what this craftalong was all about so I finally took the time to read all the pages and look at all the pictures.  Wow, there are some fantastic trees!  I have to say that one of my favorite is retroeva's small kitchen tree and that's because I collect miniature kitchen utensils and that would look perfect in my house (where did you get all those kitchen ornaments?)

Here is our tree - we call him Charlie Brown - he is 22 years old and was purchased the first year my hubby and I were married.  While he doesn't look too bad with decorations and lights, he looks very pathetic when standing 'undecorated' and reminds me of the tree in Charlie Brown's Christmas - thus his name!

I crocheted the tree skirt and 99.5% of the decorations are hand made by either myself or I have received them through swaps.

Here are 2 of my favorites:

These are both glass balls that I dribbled paint into and then spent time twisting them to cover the inside and then turned them over to let the excess paint drain out.

Sitting deep inside the branches is this little hat:

Homerof2, those are beautiful! I second the question, what paint did you use lol

"just keep crafting, just keep crafting"

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

Homerof2- I saw that craft on the Carol Duvall Show.  Well done!

Vancy-  I love the Santa hat tree topper.  I used to do that too.

I used Delta Ceramcoat, which is an acrylic paint - I'm sure any acrylic paint would work fine!

I love seeing peoples trees, it gets me more into the christmas spirit!
Here's 2 of ours(one 3 footer, one 6.5 footer). Our big tree usually has ton more decor but since we have 2 more cats this year(kittens of all things lol) our tree is constantly under attack and climbed, so i limited the ornaments so i don't have to keep picking them off the floor! I have lots more decor around the house but i don't wanna make this post any longer then it has to be. Enjoy the holidays folks!

Our traditional looking tree(has old school santa ornaments and wreathes):
Our gold ribbon, mini disco ball and snowflakes tree! It looks alot more yellow/gold then the dark pic gives credit for!

Becareful of what lingers within!
