Okay, so don't make fun of me. haha. My boyfriend and I live in a small apartment (and we have for two years now), so this is our little tree. It's a white, fiber-optic tree and it's actually kind of pretty when it's all lit up. Sorry the picture of it lit is a little blurry.. I tried the best I could!

I desperately need new stockings. I'm going to try to make some for next year when everything goes on sale.

Happy Holidays!

oh, i love to see everyone's pictures!!  this evening i rearranged my living room (we got a free loveseat, yay!) so now i'm not so sure where i'll be putting my tree.  Undecided  it'll be the first time i've had a real tree in four years, i'm so excited!

i'm just taking a break from making some ornaments out of old christmas cards.  i think i'm going to make them into a garland to hang over the doorway from the living room to the dining room.

so far in terms of decorating, i haven't done much.  but i did light a fire in the fireplace and hang a (handmade, of course) wreath outside  Grin

Okay, no one make fun of my other trees!
This is the one in our bedroom. I tried to take a picture of it all lit up and purdyfull but of course, it wouldnt do it! Im so upset because it is stunning at night. Also ignore the irioning board. My husband is in the Air National Guard and he begrudignly drug it out to iron his uniform! Its a 6ft slim with white lights and small gold balls.

This is the tree in my craft room. My DH likes to call this my airplane because apparently I have enough lights crammed onto this little 18 incher that the planes flying by may confuse it with a landing strip. Hes just jealous because the branches are irridecent, lol!

So we bought our tree this weekend after all!  My other half is away a lot so we thought we'd better get it while we had the time.  I have taken photos, just need to find the cable for the camera...

Here are a couple of pictures...

The only home made bits at the moment are the felt stockings but I'm going to keep adding to it!

I like seeing everyone's pictures! Aside from the icicle lights that hang in our front window year-round (my mom loves them  Roll Eyes), the only decor we have up is the wreath my mom made, and in my room, I have a little three-foot tree on which I'll be putting Harry Potter ornaments made by SidekickFancy.

DITTO!  But he's not really a dog, he's a 1 year old boy!

Here is my tree and mantle pics for this year.  My tree is a skinny 6.5 foot (artificial) tree, and I have silver and red ornaments (mostly).  I love Christmas, because I pick up deco for it throughout the year, whenever we go on trips, etc, so there are many sentimental ornaments on it.  Most of the ornaments are red, silver, stars, crosses, or snowflakes. This year's tree is different than past years, I have the whole set of Frosty Friends from Hallmark (25 years worth), but they are worth too much to display with the baby, so they are boxed.  Instead, I added a pack of small, cheap red balls for color, cause I won't care if those get broken!  I used a roll of red tulle as garland, I think it adds just enough translucent color and movement, without being too fancy.

Anywho, here's the tree:

The WHITE looking snowflakes are silver mirrors.

And the mantle, which I'm not quite happy with yet...

Last year I put a mirror up there, but this year we have the family pics, and I didn't want to take them down for the month...so it creates a problem as to what to add.  It's simple for now, but I doubt it will stay that way!  I LOVE my Stockings...made those 2 years ago.  I adore my silver bell collection, but can't find a good place for them, so that's why they are spread out.
Also, the stocking holders are from the 99cents store, they were ugly forest green, but after 3 coats (white, gray, aluminum) of spray paint and some silver leafing, they look great (for $1 each)!.

Merry Christmas everyone!
