This is my first design of a amigurumi! (my second amigurumi ever)

I made this for Ptarmic Wampus in a private swap. The fabric is made by Ptarmic Wampus for my hoodie. So I asked her to send me a swatch.

It arrived with three dots. So I thought what could I do with it?  Huh Paint it!

Then I chose a yarn that would look like paint spatters (at least that's what my painting clothes look like - multi-colored dots and spots!)

And of course Crafty Squid is knitting a sweater while painting, and the little sweater has multiple sleeves and is shaped just like a squid shape Wink

And another tentacle is sewing with a needle.

Oh! how I wish I had so many tentacled "hands" to craft all that I want to do!

For the tentacles, I used a special technique that made them round and really curly!

This was fun to make, and I hope you all enjoy seeing it as much as I had making it!

Heh. When I made a little squid for our daughter, my wife rolled her eyes and told me that only I would think something like that was cute.

Very nice work, sewknitter! You'll have to show us the sweater when she finishes it.
