I may have guilt-tripped her a little on that count. I'm a bad girl. :-p

Incidentally, I am planning on working my project out. I'm a pretty fast knitter, and I'm ahead on my christmas knitting. Assuming I get knitting. If it's crochet then y'all are sunk because I am slow as molasses.

I really want to knit/crochet it out.  I received a magic ball in the ongoing wish swap, and the URL for the pattern was in the center.....

and it was really fun rewinding the ball and having things fly out all over the place!

I am going to try really hard to knit mine out. I think it will be really good motivation to finish something. I get bored easily, and tend to start new projects.

unfortunately I have no hope in hell of knitting mine out, firstly, its knitted so it will take me a little longer, but secondly, I'm just too damn eager to see what I've received!!

I admit from the get-go that I am ripping my package open the moment the postman stops by and unwinding the ball as fast as I can.  It's more fun that way (my family loves to witness the swap process Wink)

another reasoning for balling the yarn first, is: what if there is food inside? I'd need to make sure that any consumables was in good condition! *coughs, shifty eyes*

or, you know, what if you accidentally smooshed it while you were working from the ball?? It'd be a shame to get food all over the yarn Grin

I honestly don't know whether I'm gonna wait or not. I know I'll try not to but not decided leaves me more guilt-free if I do cave Tongue
