Here are my latest socks... they're the Ripple Weave socks from the Fall 06 VK. A birthday gift for my mom... two months late... but they're done! And she LOVES them!!!

I actually used the recommended yarn (Lang Jawoll) because I happened to have some in my stash. :-)

They look terrific! I tried this pattern but gave up b/c I didn't like how the yo's were turning out. Did you ktbl them, like the pattern says? Does it close them up too much?

Ya, I just followed the pattern (although I think row 3 of the chart is wrong... but I'd already done a couple repeats before I figured it out, so I just kept doing it that way for the rest of the socks). I didn't think the pattern was going to turn out as nice as it did, but the photo in the magazine kept me going...

They're so comfy and stretchy, I may have to make another pair... for me!
