Wandering in the wilderness, I realised I was LOST

Hey all,

Not sure if this is worthy of it's own post or not, I could be well out of the loop, but I just thought I'd let everyone know that I found Modge Podge at Art Riot at Northland in Preston.  It was $5.99 for a 100 or 150ml bottle and they also had Sparkle Modge Podge, which was a bit more expensive.

Cheers,
Ceilidh.

I saw some in our spotlight store the other day, is it normally hard to find?

I hadn't seen it anywhere before, but then I hadn't really been looking for it either.  I just figured I'd let people know how cool Art Riot is anyway!  Wink

Kimski - Modge Podge is a sealant/adhesive that can be used for decoupage, varnishing, gluing things are so on.  It's basically a waterproof "goop", ie, water won't thin it or wash it out.

I wanted some to try a stencilling technique that I found a tutorial for on Craftster as it said use a waterproof glue to blank out the area around the traced stencil and normal white glue (PVA) is water soluable.

Thank God for that! I was starting to think I"d have to import it. And Northpoint is just a short bus trip for me too. Yay! Thank you so much for posting that.  Cheesy

Bunnings carry Mod Podge in about 6 different varieties (Matte, gloss, fabric, etc) in their craft section.

I went to Northpoint in Preston looking for Mod Podge yesterday. There is no Spotlight there but there is a big craft stor there that does stock it but they were all out! Agh!  Shocked They said they were getting more in after Christmas. A fat lot of good that does me with all my gifts  due in the post today!

So I went to Lincraft. They didn't have any Mod Podge either. In fact, they'd never heard of it. So I got some spray on "sealant" that says it works for decoupage. I'll have to use that. It was about $10.
