Guinea pigs are the best pets. They don't seem to live very long though. And since I allready have 3 cats, 3 ferrets, and a puppy I can't convince my hubby I need one. So I saw a knitted one on a website for handmade animals. I cna't knit but it looked pretty simple to me. SO I've been scoping yarn and found this stuff for 79 cents  at BIGLOTs in tiny skeins. Perfect for a cute little guinea pig. Then I got out my knit Magic and made a tube and wha-la!

His feet and ears are felt (the square sheet kind) and his eyes are some blue beads I bought at the dollar store. They should really be black but I like him anyway.
I sewed his parts on with the same yarn I used to make him. Smiley I hope to learn to really knit after christmas then I can make one with knitted feet and ears.

I used my knitting machine and knit a tube. Then gathered together the loops on one side to close one end. Stuffed to desired fatness. and then closed the the other end the same way. His feet and ears are felt that I stitched on the eyes are beads and embroidered the nose.
