I decided to squeeze in some fun knitting in between the holiday knitting and craft fair preparation knitting and churned out this beauty in a short evening, including all of the embellishment making and attaching Smiley

More info, as always, is available via my blog

the shape inspired me into turning into an elf-inspired hat.

The Meathead is the creation of Larissa Brown who created the pattern and involved other knitters to create a Meathead Exhibit that was featured in this knitty article:

Larissa is now working on a book! And was looking for more meathead Knitters which i how I wound up knitting one LOL

She has made the Meathead hat pattern available again (before the book comes out) as part of a fundraiser. I've been dying to make these hats since I first saw pictures of the finished hats. But I had missed the test-knitalong. I'm very excited to start on this tonight!
