....

I now have the desire to design a knit and then lined menstrual cup cozy in the shape of a squid.

I blame you.

why would you need a squid for a tampon cozy?

If you want to make a really simple tampon cozy, knit a rectangle (tight-ish gauge) as wide as you want it to be and 2 and 1/3 times as long, then sew up the edges so that you have a pouch that is as long as the tampon and a flap that is the remaining 1/3.  You can attatch snaps, velcro, a toggle, or even make a button hole so that you can keep it closed.
Good luck!

whoa. duinnj. your squid = mind blowing. i can't wait to see how it turns out!

lizzle- that's pretty much what i did. i was just wondering if there was anyway you could possibly do it without having to sew up the side....like knit a tubular shape? idk.

I love your squid tampon cozies and I absolutely must make some! Have you already posted a tutorial? Or can you give me the basic idea? Thanks!
